Private Equity Funds for Institutional Investors
Sveafastigheter is a leading Nordic private equity house
focusing solely on real estate investments. Sveafastigheter has
launched three funds since 2003.
In March 2010 Sveafastigheter held a first closing in its third
fund - Sveafastigheter Fund III. The fund will focus on property
acquisitions in the countries around the Baltic Sea, primarily
Sweden and Finland, where at least 70 per cent of the equity will
be invested. The fund's investment strategy is opportunistic
with a value-added approach to asset management.
Sveafastigheter Sverige I was the first major Swedish property
fund aimed at institutional investors with committed capital of SEK
450 million (EUR 50 million). The fund focused on cash flow
generating properties in Sweden and was fully invested in
2006. Sveafastigheter Fund II was launched in 2006, with
committed capital of SEK 1.2 billion (EUR 130 million), and closed
for new investments in 2009. Fund II is a Nordic opportunistic
property fund with focus on properties with high and sustainable
yield, irrespective of property type, primarily in Sweden and
Finland.
Sveafastigheter has been awarded 'Best Real Estate Investment
Manager in Sweden' in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009 and 2010 as well as
'Best Nordic and Baltic Real Estate Investment Manager' in 2009 and
2010.
