Private Equity Funds for Institutional Investors

Sveafastigheter is a leading Nordic private equity house focusing solely on real estate investments. Sveafastigheter has launched three funds since 2003.

In March 2010 Sveafastigheter held a first closing in its third fund - Sveafastigheter Fund III. The fund will focus on property acquisitions in the countries around the Baltic Sea, primarily Sweden and Finland, where at least 70 per cent of the equity will be invested.  The fund's investment strategy is opportunistic with a value-added approach to asset management.

Sveafastigheter Sverige I was the first major Swedish property fund aimed at institutional investors with committed capital of SEK 450 million (EUR 50 million). The fund focused on cash flow generating properties in Sweden and was fully invested in 2006. Sveafastigheter Fund II was launched in 2006, with committed capital of SEK 1.2 billion (EUR 130 million), and closed for new investments in 2009. Fund II is a Nordic opportunistic property fund with focus on properties with high and sustainable yield, irrespective of property type, primarily in Sweden and Finland.

Sveafastigheter has been awarded 'Best Real Estate Investment Manager in Sweden' in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009 and 2010 as well as 'Best Nordic and Baltic Real Estate Investment Manager' in 2009 and 2010.
